Professor Jason has been training for 15 years earning his black belt in 2020. Jason loves to play half-guard, and most would agree they dread being caught there.
Jason’s advice is “The more comfortable you are in escaping bad positions, the more risks you can take while attacking. Focusing on your escapes and guard retention skills should take priority early on in your training. When you roll with opponents with less training or less strength than yourself, put
yourself in bad positions to develop these skills until they become muscle memory”.
Professor Luke has been training Jiu-Jitsu on and off for about 15 years, most consistently for the past 9 years, finally earing his Black Belt in 2022 under Professors Jeremy Lee Henderson and Robson Moura.
